Zero-Waste Beauty & Skincare

Zero-Waste Christmas Gift Ideas

Zero-waste products are for the beauty enthusiasts in your life. A favorite among my friends and generously-packed gift sets of greener skincare picks:

Organic soap bars: Handmade organic soap bars smell heavenly and are devoid of harmful chemicals.

Bamboo toothbrushes: A great stocking stuffer that makes a difference. Everyone, you ever used still exists and this is another way to reduce that plastic waste, kind of every toothbrush.

Refillable beauty products: I heard… the other day that it is really difficult to gift skincare and makeup products so essentially, gifting refillable makes sense too!

It looks really stylish and ecological because the packaging is also reusable. You buy these zero-waste products from websites like Zero Waste Store.

Reusable Kitchen Essentials

Reusable Kitchen Essentials Christmas Gifts

Some of my favorite gifts to give, and receive, are reusable kitchen products. These are good for daily use, durable, and reduce the need for single-use plastics. A few ideas:

Beeswax wraps: These are great for covering leftovers or snacks and can be reused for months on end. I bought these two years ago and have never stopped giving them as gifts.

Bamboo utensils: Cutlery or other regular kitchen tools, bamboo is a very renewable alternative in the world of flatware that appears good and has long-term benefits. Not to mention, they are light and perfect as an on-the-go snack.

Re-Usable Coffee Cups: For the coffee lovers out there – how about a super sleek reusable cup? In fact, most in my town of coffee shops give discounts if you bring your own cup!

Eco-Friendly Tech Gadgets

Eco-friendly gadgets of all sorts make great gifts:

Solar chargers: Suitable for those who are constantly on the move and want to charge their devices ecologically. One of these I take with me when I hike.

Energy-saving smart plugs: This switches off your devices once they are not in use to save electricity. I gifted a few last year

Biodegradable phone cases and tech accessories: Your gadgets can be green, too. Pela Case sells an assortment of fashionable 100% compostable phone cases across different models.

DIY Gift Ideas

If you’re crafty like me, DIY gifts can be a wonderful and personal touch to your holiday gifting.

Homemade body scrubs: Create personalized body scrubs with everyday, natural ingredients such as sugar, coconut oil, and essential oils.

Repurpose old stuff to create something beautiful: Upcycled home decor. I have also built photo frames with old pallet wood, and there are adorable gifts.
